Went there on a Saturday. One of the best cafes me and my partner have went to in terms of vibe and food. They have some dishes that are exceptionally unique, me won't find in any regular cafe that was executed perfectly and well. However, it was also one of the most expensive . I think it is well worth it if visiting occasionally, and for the occasional special treat. Or maybe I'm just poor... (I ordered two meals and two drinks for around 90 bucks)

It was my second visit to L.Law Hyde Park, and once again I was impressed! They have such a wide range of food and beverage options to choose from. This time, I ordered the Tiramisu French Toast and a Taro Matcha Latte. The French toast was soft and rich, and the tiramisu ice cream on top made it the perfect match. The Taro Matcha Latte was also delicious. I’ll definitely be coming back again :)

Sunday Brunch: Laksa exceeded my expectations what initially may have seemed like a gimmick was certainly not. The laksa was beautifully crafted and the aroma and taste was phenomenal. Photos include Chicken n Waffle and the Eel Rice

This was my first time dining at LLaw and I have to say, I was very impressed. Six of us came for lunch and we all had spectacularly good food. I had truffle fried rice with eel and fish roe and it was impeccable. The laksa corn ribs (side dish) were delicious, and my daughter has a fried chicken sando with the best onion rings I have ever had (and I love onion rings). Highly recommend . I’ll be talking it u to all my friends!!

This place was a complete pleasant surprise. We were originally headed to our usual brunch spot (my partner is mildly obsessed with Commitment Issues and their smashed avo), only to arrive at 1:50 p.m. and be told (after being seated) that the kitchen had already closed. Bit ironic for a place open till 3 p.m... Might want to consider renaming themselves "Time Management Issues." Anyway, with a hangry and caffeine-deprived partner on my hands, I turned to Google in desperation for a place that could match the quality we were after. That’s when L.Law popped up. A few photos and glowing reviews later, I gave them a ring (their listed hours say 4 p.m. opening) just to be sure—and yes, they were open and had space for us. Tucked away quietly on King William Road, L.Law has a lovely calm vibe and a menu that’s Japanese-inspired with familiar café staples woven in. I ordered the Wagyu Sando, my partner went for (you guessed it) the Smashed Avo. We also got a double shot cappuccino, a No Sugar Coke, and shared a side of Hot Chilli Halloumi. And honestly... wow. As frustrating as Commitment Issues were, I kind of have to thank them, because everything here was fantastic. The coffee? My very picky, self-proclaimed coffee snob of a partner said it might be the best she’s ever had. The Sando was juicy and full of flavour, and the halloumi was the perfect spicy-salty side. Partner gave two enthusiastic thumbs up for the Smashed Avo too. So yep, safe to say we’ll be back. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area (or even if you’re not). L.Law Hyde Park has officially won us over.
